Der Herbst scheint immer das beste in Drum & Bass her­aus­zu­brin­gen, ob das nun das kalte Wet­ter und die frü­her wer­den­den Abende sind, die die rich­tige Stim­mung bie­ten um tolle Tracks zu machen, oder ein Pro­blem im Vinyl Press­werk, es gibt in die­ser Sen­dung einen deepen, rol­len­den Mix. Wir haben neues Album Mate­rial von Ed Rush & Opti­cal, das sich anhört als wäre es direkt von 1998 gekom­men. Den sel­te­nen Clis­sold VIP von Machine­drum haben wir auch dabei, und es gibt auch ein Paar Stü­cke von Homem­ade Wea­pons und SB81 die ein­fach gna­den­los grooven. Autumn always seems to bring out the best in Drum & Bass music, maybe it’s the cold wea­t­her and the early night­fall that’s con­du­cive to making wicked tracks. Or maybe it’s just a hold-up in the vinyl-pressing plant. Eit­her way, what’s not up for debate is that there are some great tunes in this month’s show. We’ve got new album mate­rial from Ed Rush & Opti­cal that sounds like it’s strai­ght out of 1998. The sought after Clis­sold VIP by Machine­drum gets drawn for as well, whilst there are a few tracks from Homem­ade Wea­pons and SB81 that are just ruthless.
