Are we obliged to help people who are fleeing their country from danger and why? Why should we not be indifferent to what is happening beyond our borders? In this episode we talk with Sára Činčurová, journalist from Slovakia, who spent a month on the rescue ship Sea Eye 4 in the Mediterranean and helped save refugees fleeing from Libya. In the interview she describes why these people risk their lives and lives of their children and what violence they experienced.

In 2000, the United Nations declared World Refugee Day on 20th June. The main purpose of Refugee Day is to highlight the living conditions and problems of refugees, and to raise society’s awareness of these problems.
